Requesting Access to an App
In Slack, either DM our app or tag it
@cakewalkin a channel where it’s been added to request access with natural language.In Cakewalk, go to the App Catalog → Click Get on the desired app and provide justification.
Approvals are automatically directed to the designated reviewer.

✅ You’ll get a Slack message when access is granted.

Changing Permissions
In Cakewalk go to “My apps” and select “Change my permissions” on any app.
Select desired permissions and confirm → Request routed to approvers.

Removing Access
In Cakewalk, select “Remove access” on any app.
Confirm → Request routed to approvers.

Requesting a New App
In Slack, navigate to the “Home” of the Cakewalk app for Slack and click “Request new app”.
Fill out quick details (business need, compliance info, etc.).
In the web app, navigate to “App catalog” and click “New”.

Checking Request Status
Go to the “Requests” page in Cakewalk.
In Slack, go to the “Home” of the Cakewalk app for Slack to check the status of your requests.
View progress: In progress → Approved → Completed.
