### **🧑‍💻 Everyday Workflows**

#### **Requesting Access to an App**

* In Slack, open the Cakewalk app and type what you need (e.g., "I need access to Figma"). The assistant confirms the details and creates the request.
* Need multiple apps? Ask in one message: "I need Miro, Jira and Notion."
* In Cakewalk, go to the App Catalog → Click *Get* on the desired app and provide justification.
* Approvals are automatically directed to the designated reviewer.

#### **Changing Permissions**

* In Slack, tell the Cakewalk app what you need: “Change my Salesforce access to Reports.”
* In Cakewalk, go to “My apps” and select “Change my permissions” on any app.
* Request is routed to approvers.

#### **Removing Access**

* In Slack, tell the Cakewalk app: “Remove my access to Looker.”
* In Cakewalk, select “Remove access” on any app.
* Request is routed to approvers.

#### **Requesting a New App**

* In Slack, navigate to the “Home” of the Cakewalk app for Slack and click “Request new app”.
* Fill out quick details (business need, compliance info, etc.).
* In the web app, navigate to “App catalog” and click “New”.

* ✅ Admins will review and approve procurement.

#### **Checking Request Status**

* In Slack, ask the Cakewalk app: “What’s happening with my Datadog request?” The assistant tells you the current state and who needs to act next. You can also ask it to send a reminder to your approver.
* In Cakewalk, go to the “Requests” page.
* View progress: In progress → Approved → Completed.
* ✅ You’ll always know where things stand.

#### **Managing Notification Preferences**

* In Cakewalk, go to your personal settings and open the **Notifications** section.
* Turn email and Slack notifications on or off for any category: Action Required, System Health, Request Updates, Lifecycle Updates, Discovery & Changes and Reminders.
* Changes save automatically.
